Eloi LeBlanc was born in College Bridge, New Brunswick in 1909. He was known as “The Fiddler of Memramcook Valley”. Louis’ parents come from Memramcook and his mother, Colombe Leblanc, was also from College Bridge. It seems like this little corner of New Brunswick turned out some of the best fiddlers and accordion players. The tunes in this medley are: Mac à John/Reel à Théotime à Six-Pouces (Six-Thumbed Théotime’s Reel!)/Reel à Narcisse à John.

Had to check the notes to see who else was playing fiddle. Laura’s versatility is astonishing, combined with superb skills from her friends. Not going to choose a favourite track until another ten plays, if then. Please don’t make us wait two decades for more. kinfan
